WHAT IS CRYOLIPOLYSIS?

Cryolipolysis is the use of below-zero temperatures to eliminate the adipocytes (fat cells) located under the skin. It is one of the most efficient slimming treatments on the market.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Using a handset, the beauty therapist applies low temperatures to the treatment area, which cause the fat cells under the skin to die naturally (apoptosis). The dead fat cells are then eliminated via the lymphatic system and normal body processes within 2 to 3 weeks.

 

It is possible to do a CryoSlimming (cryolipolysis) session with CryoS3 every 2 weeks, the period necessary for the kidneys to eliminate the fat cell waste resulting from the apoptosis (3 weeks for diabetic people – with medical advice).

 

The treatment does not damage the skin which is resistant to the temperature range used.

IS IT SAFE?

Developed in the USA, this established technique is now performed regularly worldwide by plastic surgeons and beauty therapists using the various machines available on the market. Over 70 scientific and clinical papers have been published by renowned doctors and researchers which demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of the procedure when applied correctly.

 

WHY CRYOS3?

CryoS3 has been developed specifically for fat reduction. The practitioner passes over with the handset the area to be treated, ensuring a permanent control of the temperature during the treatment. This handset guaranties a maximum efficacy of the treatment while using very low temperatures (as low as -8°C) and a maximum safety for the skin.

 

CAN I TREAT ANY PART OF THE BODY WITH CRYOSLIMMING?

CryoS3 can be used for treating any part of the body, thanks to the flexibility and the precision of the handset. The only part of the body that cannot be treated with cryolipolysis is the breast. It is not possible to do cryolipolysis on the face neither, but it is possible to treat the double chin and the fat under the jaws.

HOW DOES IT FEEL?

The feeling is rather pleasant thanks to the start of the treatment which is done with a period of skin warming for a few minutes and then a rapid decrease of the temperature (Thermal Shock). The client can feel the cold temperatures during the rest of the session, but as it is very localised and as the warmth of the body compensates these cold temperatures, the cold sensation is very light. A CryoSlimming Body (cryolipolysis) session lasts half an hour, a double chin session is 14 min.

 

There are few side effects: sometimes localised redness that disappears after a few hours, sometimes some light local discomfort that rarely exceeds 2 to 3 hours. There may also be some itching without consequences and often due to the reactions with certain cosmetic products used by clients.

CRYOS3 for CRYOTONING

CryoSlimming (cryolipolysis) is the use of below-zero temperatures to eliminate fat cells, whereas CryoToning treatments use cold temperatures around 0°C to rejuvenate and tighten the skin.

 

It is possible to do a CryoToning treatment every week on the same body zone/ face.

CAN I TREAT ANY PART OF THE BODY AND THE FACE WITH CRYOTONING?

CryoS3 is the only cryolipolysis device on the market allowing as well to perform CryoToning treatments on any part of the body and the face:

HOW DOES IT FEEL?

The feeling is rather pleasant. There is no initial warm period during CryoToning as the objective here is not cryolipolysis. The client can feel the cold temperatures during the session, but as the temperature is not very low and the beauty therapist soothes the treated zones with her hand after passing the handset, the cold sensation is very light. One session lasts from 20 to 30 min. depending on the body zone.
